Aroma Cafe Bar
Aroma is a boutique coffee shop where you can enjoy fresh coffee, pastries, and authentic Mexican food. Located in Marda Loop, Aroma Café Bar opened its doors on March 10, 2020 with the commitment of providing its customers with a unique tasting experience in a friendly environment that is second to none.
Aroma has been distinguished by our customers for bringing delicious Mexican dishes that are carefully prepared by Chef Georgina. Originally from the State of Oaxaca, Mexico, Georgina honed her skills in her mother’s kitchen. Her personality, passion, and cooking style are what customers have loved so much about Aroma.
Since opening, Aroma has been bringing a unique combination of fresh coffee, quality food, rich Mexican flavours, and exceptional customer service to Marda Loop and all of Calgary!
Bells Café
Bell's Café has been part of the Marda loop community since 1996, serving coffee and homemade pastries and cakes alongside our delicious sandwiches and soups! We are inclusive space that encourages people to sit l, stay, play, and study in our cozy and welcoming environment. Enjoy games and books available, and free wifi! We also host book clubs, craft nights, and poetry workshops!
Blush Lane Organic Market
Blush Lane Marda Loop is located at the corner of 20th St. and 33rd Ave. SW, in the heart of Marda Loop. Parking is available on the street, at the back of the building, as well as in the underground parkade. Calgary Transit Buses #7 and #22 stop right outside the store and we're right on the 20th Street bike lane. Connie & John's Pizza
Connie & John’s Pizza is a neighborhood pizza joint with two locations one located inside Charbar, 618 Confluence Way SE, and the second location inside Blush Lane Organic Market in Marda Loop. We are paying homage to the iconic pizza joints of New York and Detroit. Our New York style is a giant 16-inch round, with a foldable golden crust, hand crafted with the highest quality ingredients and baked in our 500f pizza oven. Our Detroit style pizzas are baked in a traditional blue steel rectangle pan. It’s a deep-dish pizza with golden cheesy and crispy edges. Slowly baked until they are bubbly delicious. It’s our hopes that you will fall in love with the history and pizza culture that captured their hearts so many years ago when they lived and worked in NYC and Detroit.

Deville Coffee
Deville is a group of coffee crafters & baked goods dreamers. We’ve been serving our communities since 2008, growing across Alberta and BC. Locally owned by people who live in the communities we operate, Deville works with a talented team to source, roast, and serve our customers.
Brewing only direct trade coffee beans, our lattes and espresso drinks have been carefully crafted by hand since day one, with ingredients like organic vanilla, and house-made chocolate ganache. Our pastries are delivered daily by the city’s best bakeries, and a menu of fresh, creative, sandwiches and goods round out the menu in our cafes.
We create cafés that are steeped in connection, with our friendly team serving up thoughtfully crafted direct trade coffee to the regulars whose orders we already know, and the ones we have yet to meet.
Forage - Farm to Fork Foods To Go
Forage is a take-out shop located in Marda Loop that focuses on ready to eat foods made with a majority of local foods from sustainable farms. We have created a network of over 40 Alberta farms and producers, that we draw from throughout the year, and create our weekly menus based on supply, variety, and even the weather.

Silver Sage Beef
Since 2011, Silver Sage Beef has been a custom butcher shop now happily located in Marda Loop. Our cattle are raised naturally without the use of hormones or anti-biotics on our family ranch located south of the Cypress Hills. Our ranch has been in our family since 1910, spanning 5 generations. For over 40 years we have prided ourselves with raising our Angus & Gelbvieh cross herd through the use of good feed, genetics and a passion for doing something different! We have over 17,000 acres of natural, native and tame grassland, with some being certified organic. We take pride knowing what we eat is what we also bring to your table!
